Started to post this as a response to a thread on Nikki Haley, but it has broader application.

NO ONE who gets "thrown under the bus" by Trump is entitled to ANY sympathy, period! Trump's self-centered, arrogant, perverted, amoral and ruthless personality has been a "known" for decades. No one who chose to work for the POS can say they were blindsided by his cruelty or disloyalty. By and large, those employed by his regime simply thought they could benefit from his evil ways. When those evil ways bite them, they are simply receiving the treatment they hoped would be directed exclusively toward their enemies and rivals.

"Cry me a river---!"

the hate, vitriol, and desire to hurt those the deplorables hate oozes from their every pore.

I believe they back deplorable candidates because the voting deplorables, demented by their all-consuming disgust and hatred for others, hope laws will be changed allowing them to kill the "others" they despise.

Trump recently declared he "knows Indonesia well" and he does. He's doing a big deal there rumor has it.

Was he alluding to knowledge that millions of "liberals" were executed by the new leader we helped take over not so long ago?

The Indonesian mass killings of 1965–1966 (also variously known as the Indonesian massacres, Indonesian genocide,[5][6] Indonesian Communist Purge, Indonesian politicide,[7][8] or the 1965 Tragedy) were large-scale killings and civil unrest which occurred in Indonesia over many months, targeting communist sympathizers, ethnic Chinese and alleged leftists, often at the instigation of the armed forces and government. Initially it began as an anti-communist purge following a controversial coup attempt by the 30 September Movement in Indonesia. The most widely published estimates were that 500,000 to more than one million people were killed,[9][10] with some more recent estimates going as high as two to three million.[2][11] The purge was a pivotal event in the transition to the "New Order" and the elimination of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) as a political force, with impacts on the global Cold War.[12] The upheavals led to the fall of President Sukarno and the commencement of Suharto's three-decade authoritarian presidency.

I wonder how many truly realize the potential danger the GOP are?

What I find to be messed up is that she was flat out in the Republican wheelhouse. Almost all Republicans of the past would have hoped they carried themselves as she did.

How can they not even score on their bread and butter? Trump. One person.
