Why is there not

F U R I O U S

O U T R A G E

E V E R Y W H E R E

including the media that our president is committing treason in helping our enemy during a time of war?

If this is not a war, if Russia didnt invade our country and attack us during the election, then I dont know what to tell you.

NO OUTRAGE?

Most people dont watch TV hardly at all anymore let alone Fox or MSNBC.

So do they know what is going on? How do they know?

Are most people simply not going to be OUTRAGED until Putin takes their home?

Somehow we have to get them to see.

Before there was 500 channels and the internet, most people watched one of 3 nightly newscasts and read the local paper.

Not anymore.

People followed them word for word in the newspapers of the day. And the voters understood what the issues were. Today it seems we are being overwhelmed by a wave of ignorance and indifference.

For decades the Republicans have benefited because most people have a hard time believing just how bad they are. When the truth is told, it sounds crazy to them.

the tennis ball machine of atrocities being fired at them all day every day while trying to go to work and care for their kids or parents...what a shit show. It’s exhausting. I also think there’s a demographic that believes that if it hasn’t touched them personally they’ll just keep their heads down and hope to make it to the other side.
I just pulled in the driveway after a day of work and running kids to piano and baseball...I’ve got to feed dogs, get dinner on the table, clean that up, help with homework and hope I can watch a little Lawrence before I fall asleep and do it again tomorrow. I’m not excusing inaction but I can understand some of it. Some days I can barely keep up with my own life let alone the dumpster fire that is our government. Okay...I’m off to attend to dinner. Good thread.

appreciate what you bring to the table, Eliot, every damned day. You keep the fire lit under me and many others I am sure. I marched with women and the March For Our Lives and if the fuckwit in the WH fires Mueller, I’ll be out there again. Thank you for what you do.

With millions teetering on the edge of comfort. They are a sizable group often with the least disposable time.
