CNN, Feb. 2016: Barbara Bush on Donald Trump: 'I'm sick of him'

https://www.cnn.com/2016/02/05/politics/barbara-bush-jeb-bush-donald-trump/index.html

Concord, New Hampshire (CNN) Jeb Bush has suggested in the past that his blunt, outspoken, 90-year-old mother has strong opinions about Donald Trump.

Sitting next to the former first lady in a joint interview with CNN Special Correspondent Jamie Gangel, Bush cautioned his mom when she was asked what she really thinks about the real estate titan.

"Be careful," Bush murmured to his mom.

Barbara Bush initially declined to show her true feelings about Trump, the man who's been tearing into her son for more than six months as someone who's "dumb as a rock" and "low energy."

But then she changed her mind. She's "sick of him."

"He doesn't give many answers to how he would solve problems. He sort of makes faces and says insulting things," Barbara Bush said about Trump. "He's said terrible things about women, terrible things about the military. I don't understand why people are for him, for that reason."

"I'm a woman," she added. "I'm not crazy about what he says about women."

Asked if she had anything more to say about Trump, Barbara Bush said she didn't want him on her mind.

"No. I do not. I don't even think about him," she said. "I'm sick of him. That's very strong."

Interjecting, Bush again playfully warned his mom to "be careful."

"That's my job," he said about attacking Trump. "Everyone else is in the witness protection -- I want you to stay in there too."

Trump fired back Saturday morning, taunting Bush for having "mommy" take on the GOP front-runner.

"Wow, Jeb Bush, whose campaign is a total disaster, had to bring in mommy to take a slap at me. Not nice!" Trump said.

I wish Jeb had just said fuck it, dragged Trump off stage and dunked his head in the nearest toilet.
He would have been an American hero for doing it.

Bush was warning his mother not to become a target of that vindictive asshole bully

She had said enough, "be careful " he said.

I know it is for Presidents. But I wouldn't be surprised if Trump doesn't get an invite.
But the funeral will probably be held this weekend and nothing interferes with Dipshit's golf.
Wouldn't be surprised if he dashed off some mean spirited Tweet about her. Nothing's too low for that thing.

Though Bill Clinton did not attend Jackie Kennedy's funeral mass in New York (Hillary did), but he did attend her graveside service at Arlington.

This will give Melania a chance to wear black and practice a grief stricken look...I'm sure she's been anxious to try it out.

normalizing the mother of a war criminal around here.

"Rhymes with rich" (about Geraldine Ferraro)

Also those comments about the Katrina refugees in the Astrodome, and her "beautiful mind" remarks when said war criminal son refused to let teevee cameras show flag-draped caskets coming back from Iraq.

Not getting on board the tribute train for the Quaker Oats Lady, just because there's so much worse in the White House at the moment.
