My great grandfather/grandmother were married for 60+ years. He was in relatively good condition when she suddenly passed. A month later he passed. There is no doubt in my mind that he died of a broken heart. The new reality for him was just more than he could deal with.

She sure doesn't look 91. Her mom lived to 101.

If she dies, I think Phillip will, but not the other way around.

...who lived, entirely self-sufficiently, in the house they had owned for decades. They each died, of natural causes, within a day of each other.

Not a bad way to go.

I don't have much love for Bush senior, but I wouldn't want anyone to go through what he's likely experiencing right now.

I was surprised to see her giving up late last week. But you have a point, I wouldn't be surprised to see 41 give up before year end, I hope not, but such a loss at that age must be tough.

Regardless, the Bush family has been evil and destructive to the United States of America.

I will not shed any tears for their deaths.

I recall hearing she'd been hospitalized, but it didn't sound real serious. I was surprised to read she opted for hospice, then passed very quickly. I did think she'd outlive him, but I don't honestly see him lasting too much longer either. The recent pictures of him make me think he's got CHF, too.
