(102,276 posts)I've no problem with them in museums. But, I don't want to see a repeat of Charlottesville-type racists worshiping at their base.
Seems if they can't get a taker, they should let the stone be reused/repurposed for something else.

(146,308 posts)If it's bronze, it has scrap metal value. If it's marble, turn it into marble chips and use them in a public garden.
There's always a solution.
