Says the email was sent to (not Philly I was wrong) Pittsburg detectives but no details on who the sender is nor who informed her of the email.

Marcie says on her Twitter account that she talked to Mayor Peduto, and he confirmed the e-mail.

"JUST IN: Just spoke to Mayor Bill Peduto, who confirms Pgh Police are preparing for possible protests. Peduto says the commander’s email asking for detectives to bring uniforms & riot gear starting tomorrow, is just precautionary #WTAE"
