He has the highest disapproval rating of any sitting senator at 49% and the lowest approval ranking in his own state. Like all Republicans, McConnell craves power and wealth, and he has gained both. He was just re-elected in 2016 so he will be around awhile to keep demonstrating that he does not care about democratic principles or anyone but the wealthy. There are two senators whom I absolutely detest. McConnell is one and ated Cruz is the other. Both are snakes.
