The tariffs added about $1000.00 to the price of manufacture...how can they compete when foreign competitors now have an advantage. I like tariffs if done correctly with negotiation. Steel infrastructure here is mostly gone and the jobs left pay very little...so the tariffs hurt more than they help. Lordstowns hourly made good money as did the managers who are now laid off...and given the hit to autos dealt by Trump these folks may not get transferred.
