<...>
FOX Newss Carl Cameron grilled Romney on his remarks, which top Palestinian officials immediately denounced as racist, in an interview from Poland on Tuesday. The Obama campaign also accused Romney of needlessly inflaming tensions in the region.
Romney responded that he did not speak about the Palestinian culture or the decisions made in their economy, while adding broadly that a nations choices affect their outcomes.
<...>
Romneys insistence that he was not addressing Palestinian culture seems at odds with his lengthy and detailed speech at a fundraiser in which he offered up a direct comparison between the per capita GDP of Israel and the Palestinian territories before launching into an explanation of why he thinks culture and perhaps a little divine help are so important to the stronger Israeli economy.
<...>
Culture makes all the difference, Romney said. And as I come here and I look out over this city and consider the accomplishments of the people of this nation, I recognize the power of at least culture and a few other things. One of the additional factors he cited was the hand of providence.

(1,013 posts)WHY would he make the remarks and create the feedbacks? Is he that limited to only his pals and his rhetoric that he cannot or comprehend the responses?
Ya know even on a really kind day, this person comes across like Adolph's early days in winning over the German population. Maybe he really should be paired with SarahPalin on the GO(o)P ticket.

He's approaching Dan Quayle dumbness levels. The case gets stronger every day.

(9,385 posts)He didn't do well in school. Combine that with what we see today, and the picture's pretty clear. There's no doubt to me that any seemingly competent things he has done are the work of others.
This guy is a zero. And an obnoxious one, at that.

(23,286 posts)...telling poor people that they just don't stack up to "us rich folks". More class warfare from the class that's winning. Never mind that the poor people in this case just happen to have an occupation army with a boot on their throats that just might be holding them down....
