Longtime Trump legal adviser: on a "loyalty scale" of 1 to 100, Cohen "isn't even a 1"

A “longtime legal adviser” for Donald Trump has warned the president his longtime personal attorney, Michael Cohen, will flip on the president “if faced with criminal charges,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

According to the Journal report, Trump sought out legal advice from Jay Goldberg, who in turn informed the president that on a stale of 1 to 100, where 100 is fully loyal to the president, Cohen “isn’t even a 1.”

Goldberg told the Journal he explained to Trump, “Michael will never stand up [for you]” if faced with charges. Investigators are currently probing whether Cohen committed bank fraud when he paid adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 from his home equity line of credit in exchange for her silence on an alleged affair with Trump.

Goldberg also warned the president Cohen may wear a wire to record conversations with Trump and people close to him.

So it makes sense he is attracted to Cohen.

Trump may go down to protect her. But Tiffany and the other kids, no way that Trump will risk anything significant for them if push comes to shove. Although I believe Tiffany and Barron are clean in regards to criminal conduct.

Trump has absolutely no loyalty to anyone other than himself...and he even has a hard time with this it appears, since he is constantly throws himself under the bus with his tweets.

The lawyer for Stormy Daniels made a comment about this to the effect that Cohen would crumble like a house of cards if he is indicted and Mueller applies pressure on him to talk.

the Mob's guy and more important to them than Cohen. Well actually, both of them are doing business for the Mob, it's just that my guess is Trump is doing more of the Mob's business for them than Cohen is. Cohen's Mob business is mainly through Trump, so Trump and the Mob could cut out their middle man, Cohen, and still survive with a bigger cut of the take.

I read the other day that Cohen had said, he'd rather take a bullet than to turn on Trump. I knew then that he knows that his penalty for turning in Trump would be a bullet; courtesy of the Mob. Trump is the Mob's boy. If Rolling Stone Magazine knows this and Mueller doesn't, we're doomed.

“How do I need to deal with this guy” kind of question.

I’m pretty sure Trump know a good amount about Cohen.
