You would meet the requirements with work, employment-related education, job or vocational training, an internship, being a caretaker, in substance abuse treatment, full time student, and of course with serious medical or mental conditions. Most states allow volunteer work too.

Fastest way to end this junk is get out the vote. This whole scheme began with trump admins approval, and it wont start until October 2019.

(2,785 posts)29 hours a week in Michigan. Most states doing this only require 20 hours per week for now at least. Most people who are jobless and on medicaid have significant impairments that make it very hard for them to work let alone find a job that would guarantee them 29 hours a week.
