(40,212 posts)Trump not only gives me the creeps, he repulses me. And that is just seeing him on television.

(42,770 posts)you are right ! The only public figures I have actually hated in recent history are Bush and Cheney...but I have never had the guttural feeling as I do with Dolt45. You?

(90,771 posts)as a woman, Bush and Cheney don't repulse me in that added way Trump does. I do find them all repulsive though.
I wouldn't date any of them but I would want to be heavily cloaked around Trump.
If that makes sense.

(7,220 posts)I always press "skip" whenever the news talk shows show clips of his inane speeches. Too grating, like someone above said, on a disgusting, visceral level. Like a creepy uncle you just know would try to get you alone if he could...{shudder}.
That said, I am dying for someone to come up with a political show format that specifically does not show his face or voice. Maybe have cartoonish guest speakers do his voice if we absolutely must know what he said.

(42,770 posts)Pretty good in the older clips. He did not age gracefully at all. But the hair, oversized suit, and strangely long tie make him look hideous now. Amazes me that with all his money he couldn't get a Vidal Sassoon type on retainer to fix that hair? Or geez wouldn't bald be a better look? Think also in general all the years of lying cheating and stealing have taken a real toll on his body

(63,221 posts)side of me. He makes me feel stabby. I couldn't stand Bush and Cheney, but what I felt toward them is nothing like what I feel toward Trump. I have never felt such a revulsion toward anyone in my life.

(42,770 posts)this up - add anecdotes so it seems like you were really there. Can hear Comey thinking out loud ..."well, his face looked fake tanned - and he had those white marks under his eyes - like you had tanning bed goggles on." the rest was history.

(115,732 posts)that he would need to have an accurate record of what was said - because he didn't trust what Trump might eventually say. I'm sure that, as an experienced prosecutor, he picked up a skeevy vibe from Trump pretty fast. I've read the memos and was rather impressed by the attention to detail, as well as the excellent quality of the writing itself.

(16,862 posts)From the memos, one is able to deduce instantly Comey's impression of Trump and clearly see the importance of documenting these interactions. I agree as well that Comey's writing style is truly impressive.

(3,531 posts)quickly learned to always send 2 lawyers/partners to meet with him so you would have confirmation of what was talked about/agreed to. Meeting him one on one was just inviting lies, backtracking, and forgetting the details of any arrangement.
The man is a compulsive liar; no wonder Comey took notes.
