Can't help wondering why/if Mueller would let Guiliani anywhere near his investigation

...why would Guiliani expect to be accepted as a broker for the president when his actions during the campaign are almost certainly an important link in the chain of evidence against Trump?

Report due out next month. And Mueller once worked under RG so he knows all about the blighter and how to put him in his place.

Giuliani an opportunity to steal the attention of the media that he craves for himself? He already passed on Giuliani because he's as much of a blowhard and a camera hog as Trump is, so giving him a second chance just shows how desperate Trump is to save himself.
