Exploring the possibility that the Trump ivestigations are witch hunts

I have a great deal of knowledge about the Salem Witch Trials in the late 1600's. You see, my Aunt and her family own the actual "John Proctor House", which was the location of the stories told to the young girls. My cousin received her masters by describing those events in early New England. I have live my whole life in the North Shore area of Greater Boston. I have been to Salem many times and spent at least 5 summers bass fishing off a boat that was docked in Salem Harbor.

Trump keeps referring to all the investigations involving him, his family, his political allies and business associates as a "Witch Hunt". Of course, I don't agree, this is really American justice at work defending the people of this country, provided the President* doesn't interfere in the investigation enough to shut it down.

But, for the sake of argument, let's say Trump is correct. We all remember how the witch trials in Salem actually turned out, don't we?
