Some Pompeo news...looks like a good source

Ned Price:
@nedprice
Special Asst to @POTUS44 & @NSC44 Spox. @CIA before. Now direct policy & comms @NatSecAction, teach @ GW, & @NBC contributor. Aspiring public servant again.

CIA has now confirmed publicly that Pompeo did NOT serve in the Gulf War. Any examples of Pompeo saying or even suggesting otherwise over the years would be of extreme interest to Members of Congress set to vote on his nomination next week. (@LexisNexis)

He constantly bashes Sen. Blumenthal for his election blunder of saying he served in Vietnam as opposed to during Vietnam (he served stateside during the war.)

I highly doubt he, or anyone else on the right, will care much.

Not gonna happen unfortunately.

We know that the Swiftboating campaign that John O'Neill started with the other lying ass swift boaters against Kerry was a pack of DAMN LIES, but most Democrats that I saw never really pointed that out or challenged them. Kerry himself said years later that he SHOULD have fought back against the lies, but his reasoning for not fighting back is that he "thought" that people would see through the lies. Uh NO, you couldn't depend on people being fully aware or engaged in 2004, and you especially can't not now-a-days because you have SO much propaganda out there flooding the airwaves: ruskie bots. Faux Noose 24/7, gish galloping thuglicans like Marsha Blackburn, twitter/Facebook before they got checked (I "guess" they got checked), and a mostly corporate media who won't call thuglicans out on their lies. I stomached Andrea Mitchell during the 2016 campaign year, and all that hack did was criticize Hillary or carp on and on about Hillary's emails I'm told by friends who can stomach that hack that she's said nothing about Jarvanka's email problems.

As we KNOW, thuglicans are extremely skilled @ loud-talking, and talking over Dems. They turn things around on Dems who don't fight back enough IMHO. Too many Dems on shows over the years have sat there like polite bumps on pickles, yielding to blathering thuglicans, so I stopped watching them on CNN and most shows on MSNBC. Dems usually truth tell, but thuglicans have gish galloping, lying, loud-talking, etc. down PAT ..... I hope you get what I'm saying about there NOT being a competent Democratic Swiftboating squad that would counter thuglicans and their DAMN LIES etc.

Stolen Glory may be cool for chickenhawk republicans like Dirty Donny, their ignoble Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, but it ain't ok at all. In fact, it's downright dishonorable.

did not fight in the Gulf War.

Apparently, many members of congress and media outlets have claimed he did fight in the Gulf War, but Pompeo has never publicly corrected the error.
