Most of Trump's merchandising empire has faded

Before he ran for office, Donald Trump made millions of dollars by selling his name to adorn other people's products. There was Trump deodorant. Trump ties. Trump steaks. Trump underwear. Trump furniture. At one time, there was even a Trump-branded urine test.

Now, almost all of them are gone.

In 2015, Trump listed 19 companies that were paying him to produce or distribute Trump-branded consumer goods.

In recent weeks, only two said they are still selling Trump-branded goods. One is a Panamanian company selling Trump bed linens and home goods. The other is a Turkish company selling Trump furniture.

I mean, literally, the ONLY option he had available to keep his family's scams afloat was to accept Russian money to be the worst Presidential candidate in American history. No banks, here or abroad, would lend him any more money.

That must have been the situation, because he could have kept flying just barely under the radar suckering people on thousands of
shitty deals, and he could have ridden off into the sunset and passed the family grift onto his sprogs. But no, he had to go and run for President and threaten the whole Trump operation with exposure. And now his valued "brand" is dead.

on MAGA hats, the kind that he gives away at rallies. I though to myself that "yes, he might throw out a few at rallies, but he sells them in the Gift Shop at Trump properties". So it's another way he makes money off of the presidency by charging those stupid hats to the campaign, but the bulk of them are sold in gift shops at his properties where I'm sure he keeps the money. I wonder if they're still made in China? The original ones were when he was running for office. Back in his campaign's beginning, someone who bought one at Trump Tower showed one with the Made in China label. Later people were showing the MAGA hats bought at Trump properties had the label cut out.

I guess most cap owners have realized how ridiculous they look.

Especially after they paid $25 or more for that pos.
