Maddow's show is covering that the Dems sued the W.H. for the Watergate burglary....

And how everyone thought it was a political stunt, David Brinkley was smirking on tv about it, etc. The Repubs called it a "scurrilous pack of lies."

Little did they know.

I didn't know the Dems sued the W.H. over that. So....looks like the Dems are repeating that, which had been a success in the past.

Very interesting. Wow....she and her staff are so up on all that's going on and on history. Good show tonight.

The advantage to the Democrats is that it will keep the issue in front of the public for months, if not years. If it were just the Mueller investigation, he'd release his report, and the news would die rather quickly.

that what we know seems to indicate that it should, there is the lawsuit. On ALL the issues that the Dems deem relevant and for which they want ...I wonder what relief they're asking for. I'll have to read that.

I did not remember the Dems sued the WH over the "third rate burglary." Damn a lot has happened since then.

When Watergate was happening, I was a busy young mom with two little ones, and since there was no CNN or any other 24-hour news channels, or the Internet, I didn't get the full story. In fact, until Rachel's show, I thought the movie All the President's Men pretty much covered it.

Thanks, Rachel! Ya done good!

If Horsehairshirt Pence should pardon the Apricot Clown, it could be seen as an admission of guilt and a pardon does not necessarily shield the recipient from civil penalties.
