There are elements in the FBI who held onto Huma Abedin laptop for over 2 months, only to release it to Comey 11 days before the election. While that could be viewed as incompetence, I suspect it was part of a plan to muddy the waters, and help trump get elected.

On the week that Comey released the letter to the republicans in Congress, a few days later fox new's Bret Baier came reported that according to HIS sources in the FBI an imminent indictment against the Clinton Foundation was about to happen. That story was picked up and repeated by various news outlets, and then a few days later, Baier came out an apologized, saying the information he had was wrong. Of course the damage was already down by Comey's letter, and Baier's apology was too little to late.

Mormons within the FBI. They're heavily recruited for their conservative bona fides, their squeaky clean lifestyles, and their religious zeal (no matter how warped it is). These dudes won't even drink a cup of coffee because it's a stimulant. They're considered the gold standard of FBI Agents. In their eyes, anything to the left of their narrow way of thinking is cause for serious investigation. I wouldn't doubt for one moment that they're behind a lot of Hillary hate within the Bureau. They're oh so willing to please their ultra-conservative masters as well.

I agree with you that there are some actors in the FBI who need outing. In fact, who the hell told Ghouliani about all this days before Comey made his announcement that there were more emails? Just thinking about that interview where he was so excited he just about pissed himself makes me so damned angry. I'd be investigating who leaked to that fool.
