The Democrats are the party of diversity, and inclusion. America has its problems with race, to say the least. But Democrats care about others and want to fix these problems. Ever since LBJ passed the Civil Rights Act and swept the racists out of the Democratic Party.
Republicans amplify racism and court racists for votes. They pander to white resentment. They use the conservative propaganda machine to make white people feel like minorities are oppressing them.
If we want to make progress on race relations in America, the top priority is to elect Democrats.
Organize, vote, register voters!

(7,399 posts)In their time, Andrew Jackson played a key role in the extermination and relocation of an entire culture of indigenous people who lived here long before European colonization.
Harriet Tubman played a key role in enhancing and saving the lives of people who were forced to come here as human property.
No contest. However, this is the mantality we have to deal with.
