Just imagine Don Jr., Jared, Stone, Manafort, and others PLEADING THE FIFTH

in order not to testify in the new DNC civil lawsuit.

If the judge allows the lawsuit to go forward, that's almost certainly what will happen (at least for anyone who hasn't already pleaded guilty). One after another of the defendants will be pleading the fifth because they're worried about their liability to criminal charges.

This lawsuit really was a great idea.

If the DNC were to LOSE? It's not gonna be a good scene, esp. if that happens before Mueller makes any big moves.

Hell, it's not going to look good if a judge just throws it out and the whole thing never even gets started.

It's a baller move, but I hope it doesn't backfire ...

4. I don't think you can plead 5th in a civil case. You either testify or not. If you don't, then its

up to your lawyers to present a defense or issue subpoenas as a means to defend against the suit. Witnesses may be able to decline to testify but not the defendant.

Cohen is trying to wriggle out of testifying because of the possibility of criminal charges, but the judge said if he wanted to plead the fifth he'd have to do it explicitly -- and he would have to do it, not his attorney on his behalf.
