Waffle House shooting: 3 dead, several injured in Tennessee

ANTIOCH, Tenn. - - At least three people are dead and several injured after a shooting at a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, three people were killed and four hurt at the restaurant, located at 3571 Murfreesboro Pike.

A naked white man with short hair opened fire with a rifle about 3:25 a.m. Sunday before running away, the police department tweeted.

According to police at the scene, a white man who was naked except for a green jacket shot customers in the parking lot and inside restaurant. They described the gun he used as an AR-15. Police say a customer was able to wrestle the gun from the suspect and throw it across the counter. The gunman then ran off.

Metro Police have identified 29-year old Travis Reinking from Morton, Illinois, as a person of interest in the shooting. He was last seen walking south of Murfreesboro Pike.

At least one victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.

Early reports said the dude was nude. Except for a jacket.
