Kellyanne Conway Goes Off on CNN's Dana Bash for Asking About Her Husband's Trump-Critical Tweets

by Josh Feldman | 9:32 am, April 22nd, 2018

By now you’ve probably heard about Kellyanne Conway‘s husband being critical of President Trump on Twitter. Conway was asked about it this morning and she clearly wasn’t happy with the questions.

CNN’s Dana Bash asked her directly, “What is up with your husband’s tweets?”

Conway got in a dig at Hillary Clinton before saying, “It’s fascinating to me that CNN would go there, but it’s very good for the whole world to have just witnessed that it’s now fair game… how people’s spouses and significant others may differ with them… That should really be fun.”

Bash said she would have asked that question too if she were a man. Conway shot back, “No you wouldn’t.”

She told Bash the question was “meant to harass and embarrass,” emphasizing that spouses have differences of opinion a lot of the time. Conway repeatedly emphasized how interesting it was that CNN would go there, calling this a “crossing the Rubicon moment.”

Bash said she just meant it as a more light-hearted question, and noted how odd it is that the spouse of someone working for the President of the United States would publicly take shots at said president.

Was she going after Dana Bash, who is (or was) married to CNN's John King?

These repulsive Repukes are fine to slam anyone and everyone about their spouses or anything else, but when it comes to themselves, they melt like a snowflake at the slightest issue.

.

Conway has to go on to play the injured party, that Bash was trying to "harass and embarrass" her.

Unfortunately, Dana Bash ceded power to Conway as she caved to Conway's retort.

were the only thing other than music on the radio.

The main topic du jour was how awful it was that Comey's wife and daughters attended the march against Trump (their characterization) the day after inauguration. What were they thinking protesting against the person their husband/father reported to.

So much for the concept that the question wouldn't have been raised had she been male.

(And I really wish that public radio stations in my neck of the woods didn't cede the late night talk venue to conservatives.)
