How could Cohen "flip" on Trump if he has done nothing wrong?

Trump's supporters would have to believe he was guilty of something, otherwise they would not even speak of "flipping" on their President?

The very term, "flipping", suggests someone is hiding something. If there is nothing to hide and there is no guilt, there can be no "flip".

His supporters believe that also. Yet, they are still supportive of possible criminal acts. Which would make them complicit in some obnoxious and oblivious way.

How old are you? ; ) repubs have been committing verified criminal acts since the nixon era, and less verifiable acts prior to that.

A few crimes here or there are nothing compared to what the libruls are doing to this country! OMG! Whatever it is we are "doing to the country" must be bad, but I have no idea what it might be.

If a person loves Rump because he hates women, gays, people of color, anyone from any other country, etc; then that person feels like libruls are discriminating against them when we point out their biases. It's like bigotry must be protected. They are the biggest snowflakes of them all because they can't handle it when they are not allowed to be intolerant.

Trump's defenders, like he, begin with the assumption he has done something illegal. I dont think they even realise it.

Trump supporters don't care that he has done something wrong, that he is basically a criminal, that he undermined our Constitutional democratic process VI's ill if all and treacherous acts. None of that matters to them so long as they are getting -- or think they are getting -- the results they want. Country 2nd, or 3rd, but probably 4th.

It started this week with that odd appearance on so many TV shows by Trump's former DIVORCE lawyer, (somebody Goldberg) and then Trump himself tweeted it --

The idea is that Cohen will want to stay out of prison, so he'll be smart enough to figure out what info the prosecutor wants and simply make up stories to give them what they want so he can stay out of prison.

(don't know who, a guest).

If you say that Cohen is not going to flip this means that you have something to hide.
