The GOP is more open about its agenda since Trump. If you look at the agenda carefully, pushed by their base they support the separate services and public places based on race. They actually do. If anything they would support apartheid polices that were prevalent in South Africa.
If they cannot deport everyone of color they want to make sure they cannot vote or partake in policy decisions. Such decisions are only for white GOP supporters and no one else. So we can expect a quadrupling down of election gaming in November.

(10,602 posts)When I listen to these yayhoos and look at what is going on on the national scene and in the states it seems obvious that we have an element that supports separation. Just thinks like police brutality towards blacks, how black with guns are treated versus white supremacists, the Starbucks incidents, the guy thrown out of a gym he paid for, and on and on. How the voter ID process is being worked to exclude certain people, the mentality of the Trump base towards minorities, LGBT and others, Then there is the RW rhetoric that goes on from day to day, the flying of the Confederate flag. The gerrymandering and sequestering all the black voters into narrow districts, charter schools that are segregation oriented.
