Brit Hume Retweeted Mediaite
He says I know that I think.... His basis? He never actually says. This guy has taken the media for a ride, publicizing himself and his client. Media have happily played along. Embarrassing.

Check my record over the last six weeks Brit. And do that now before you make any more baseless tweets and further embarass yourself. Better yet, lets compare my record to yours in 3 months. #youarenervous #basta

(131,102 posts)it's the principle of pissing contests, the contestants are irrelevant. Years and Years and Years of these things, ENOUGH!

(44,182 posts)If you can articulate your objections better. I am all ears.
However, if honest and valid pushback on Fox dishonest liars/legal experts and their disinformation machine offends you, thats certainly your prerogative.
Implied false equivalencies between Hume/DiGenova and Avenatti is your prerogative as well.

(21,664 posts)You might remember this one.
When Clinton introduced Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a Supreme Court nominee in the Rose Garden, she proceeded to tell the audience a little about herself - including how her own struggles and the fact that she lost loved ones in the Holocaust had shaped her worldview and had given her a passion for justice.
Clinton gave Hume a chance to be decent for once in his life, and called on him first (he was at ABC back then).
"Mr. President," he groaned in that monotone of his, "could you disabuse us of the notion that you're playing politics with..."
"Frankly," Clinton interjected, "I've given up hope that I could ever disabuse some of you of anything, and how you could ask something like that after what she just said, is beyond me."
Hume, as you can imagine, practically melted into his chair.
