but seeing this crap and the rise of fascism in this country and elsewhere, I'm sort of glad they didn't live to see it.

6. yes... but my Father and all but one uncle were gone by 87 or 88.

The surviving aunt was almost in another generation, having been considerably younger than my parents and the uncle she married. Still, seeing how Fox turn her into a raging pro-NRA RWer is pretty horrific and I suppose it is possible the same might have afflicted them had they been alive to see it.

Gawd, what a scourge on society is Fox News.
