Clarity.... for the sake of Clarity

Clarity

Democrats and Republicans are the two main parties in the United States. While recently moderate and alternative parties have become more prominent, Democrats and Republicans remain the two historically largest parties, which hold the majority of the seats in the Senate and in the House of Representatives. Democrats and Republicans have opposing views and positions on several key issues, including economic, political, military and social matters.

Democrat vs Republican
The main difference between the two parties is, indeed, their political orientation.
The Democratic Party is left-leaning, liberal and usually associated with progressiveness and equality.
The Republican Party, instead, is right-leaning, traditional and associated with equity and economic freedom and with the ideal of “survival of the fittest”.

An independent or nonpartisan politician is an individual politician not affiliated with any political party.

An independent is variously defined as a voter who votes for candidates on issues rather than on the basis of a political ideology or partisanship; a voter who does not have long-standing loyalty to, or identification with, a political party

In U.S. politics an Independent Democrat is an individual who loosely identifies with the ideals of the Democratic Party but chooses not to be a formal member of the party (i.e. chooses to be an independent).

This website is called "Democratic Underground"..... yet, if any post does not pander to or speak without addressing real thoughts about acts of conduct of an Independent, even when an Independent often bashes the Democratic Party...
To win as Democrats... we need good Democratic Narratives, and we need truths to be openly addressed about "anything" that diminish the attraction of votes for the party.

I would think the ideal is to promote the Democratic Platform as well as attract others to it, whether they are independents, non political, or even middle and left Republican who can appreciate and Support Democratic Ideals.

There certainly is no intent to alienate any Independents as it is far better that they vote with the Democratic ideals, than to vote with Republican Ideals....

Thus so... Truths matter and truths should matter, as they strengthen the values of the Democratic Platform and Its Agenda.

Based on Raw Numbers, it is speculated that America has:
72 Million in the Democratic Party
55 Million in the Republican Party
42 Million in the Independent Party

Based on such numbers, the majority is in the Democratic Party, it takes enough bashing from republicans and certainly does not need to be beat down by any other.
