didn't sport one also or those air kisses would have had to be little pursed-lip gestures from a distance. Dramatically broad-brimmed hats have been high daytime style for very wealthy women for decades. They're a class marker and protect their exquisite complexions from the sun.

I think her and her pussygrabbing idiot husband would wear a pink tutu if it would distract the media from talking about the way they're fucking up our country. But yeah, ridiculous hat, great job CNN!

in it. Today, he repeated the lie about Obama giving them all these millions of dollars as part of the agreement. What he fails to understand is that the money we gave them as part of the agreement was their own money. Prior to our fall out with the Iranians when they stormed our Embassy and took hostages, we had normal relations with them and they had placed orders for U.S. made aircraft and had paid for them. Those orders for aircraft were never filled and we kept their money they had paid US companies to fulfill those orders, for about 4 decades. After the agreement was reached with the Iranians, we gave them their money we owed them (plus interest I believe). Whether or not we received restitution for our embassy they took over, I don't know for certain, but I believe that we would have sought that restitution since they were asking for theirs. We are a nation of principles and honor our commitments, (at least we did prior to the current president taking office). We don't just take what doesn't belong to us because we can. That may work in Trump's world, but it's not how our nation operates these days.

trying to win her over? i don't know. i really don't care about her either. I believe she is somehow connected to the Russian connection as well. Maybe married him on purpose to keep an eye on mob's money?

i can't prove it, but, I don't feel to bad. It's been 17 months and according to the gop...Mueller hasn't proven anything either.
I do know it's mobster behavior to get an insider to marry a monied up "loaner" so they can get continuously, fresh bribery details on the husband, and keep a REAL close eye on the guy who owes them money.

Maybe it's a conspiracy theory, but I've never discounted that she's part of this whole thing. Hopefully we'll find out. And whatever the case, unless she's incredibly stupid, she is aware of 45's wrongdoings through the years.

She's just wayyyy too disinterested. Clearly there for other reasons. (Besides the dough.) Two Russians in the WH...under the gop watch....never thought I'd see the day, but, I'm glad bc they have set the bar so low....we are golden.

Oh, I'm just kidding.

I think the hat looked ridiculous, but the good news is that I'm actually able to have an opinion about her hat AND also have my attention on the REAL news. Of course her hat isn't the most important "news" of the day, but that doesn't mean that nobody should mention it if they feel inclined to do so. Lighthearted banter isn't really a bad thing now and then, IMO.

I no longer have cable news (a good thing for my household, trust me), so I don't know how much attention CNN gave to Melania's hat. I do hope they didn't truly have a fit about it.

Picking out the china for the dinner and getting dressed up in high heels with full makeup is the extent of her contributions.
