They set a narrative, then light the fire. Al Franken, Hillary’s emails, Benghazi, and the stupid stuff like the tan suit, or calling the cop kind of dumb who arrested the black professor At his home, and other stupid stuff.

The conservative playbook says that when a non-conservative becomes too influential, then you must attack them. Hard, and often.

Making up lies is a favorite tactic.

Finding something out from decades ago and embellishing so it seems much worse and is current, rather than decades old, is another tactic the cons use.

But out and out lies is their favorite. It works quite well. For example, if you ask most people they will say the republicans are fiscally responsible and the democrats aren't. Most people believe this because repubs and their bedfellows in most news rooms have been repeating this lie for decades.

I am appalled at all the posts on DU calling for her head assuming she is lying about being hacked. Why is hacking so improbable? Where have these folks been the last couple years?
