How about Al Franken for Speaker of the House in 2019 should Dems take

control ?
I love Ms Pelosi, but I wouldn't be upset to see our party go to another level. To go outside insider rule. To put a strong progressive 3rd in line to the Presidency. And indeed, a stepping stone to the 2020 Presidential efforts.

Ok, flame away.

Give it a fucking rest. Like have Nancy in line for the president is not having a strong progressive.

However, I do believe that Al will take the high road and never run again. The same integrity he showed by resigning (too early in my opinion) for the good of the Democrats will keep him from ever seeking an elected office. I wish he would but I don't think he will.
