Demographically I would guess it has the smallest percentage of college grads in the County and has a huge percentage of AZ natives and 'Zonies with + 20 years of residency who live in the sprawling burbs, and is home to the Sun City retirement community. It should be an extremely safe Repub district.

That being said, I don't think the Arpio shift will hold in 2018, but enough may shift to flip the neighboring district. That and a district down in Tucson would be two pickups in the AZ.

For what it is worth, I have about a dozen family members in the district, all except for maybe one are solid Dem votes. Bless their hearts for either never leaving, or returning to the district. I left immediately after graduation, and was celebrating my exit before hitting the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. (Basically 20 miles west of the district)
