Ive spent the last two hours blocking critics of Joy Reid on Twitter

Here is what I’ve learned. When I block I go to the persons page and read through the first 10 or so tweets and their profile. The people who are so concerned about Joys views are themselves homophobic and sometimes racist with a strange mixture of conspiracy theories, misogyny and just plain garbage. Many have supportive posts about Bernie Sanders. About 90% are males between the ages of 34 and 45 according to their profiles. Some are obviously bots with grammar errors and stock photos.

I don’t know if Sanders supporters think this will be an effective strategy for them, but it has totally turned off this Bernie primary voter. I don’t want to be associated with this. I know all his supporters are not like this, perhaps those who aren’t can say something to them on Bernie sites they go to. I give up.

with 1,100 signers and no mention of it being from Sanders supporters. Most Sanders supporters wouldn’t sign that for Christ Sakes. Quit reliving the primary and move on.

Besides, if you do the math... even at "10 months old" that puts it in the last half of 2017. I think everyone can agree that 2017 is AFTER the primaries.

The Bernie bashing is reliving the primary. He voteswith the Dems. I voted for Hillary, but the constant bashing of Bernie and Dem du jour is suicide ahead of the 2018 general.

Nobody is "Bernie bashing" here. Are you suggesting that because he "voteswith the Dems" that means he's to be considered immune from valid criticism and push-back when he says that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt" and "feeble". Why should he receive special treatment?

The trolls love looking like Bernie supporters. They are Russian bots. I supported Bernie in the primary and they are not welcome on my Twitter feed.

They can have a twitter acct suspended if they choose to.

Good to clear the feed daily, there's only so much we can do, but the scope of trolls & bots is more than the sum of us all.

Strong voices are drummed out by our parties policy of perfect, while allowing rwnj's to just continue on. I was a BS fan, before I wasn't. Become a D if you want our votes imho. Thanks for caucusing, but, it benefitted BS as much as it did the D Party.

Isn't BS seeking to build a media empire anyway?
Goes back to that "Money & Media" statement as to why he joined the Dem race.

I'm wondering exactly who he's building this media empire for & with, considering how he clearly despises the Democratic Party, the Party for all citizens.

He has kept too much hidden to give total trust to.
