I knew something was up.

I'm still very disgusted, while not actually very shocked, if what's been reported is true, he is still allowed to be a Navy physician. I knew a few real doozy docs, while I was in the Navy. One who, even if a female went in with just a cold, always insisted on giving her a pelvic exam. Another who distributed Valium the way most distribute vitamins. But those docs were at training bases, not the White House.

I do think there is something going on with officers in the military. They don't seem to have to answer to anyone while in the military, but seem to get into trouble when they apply the same principles in civic situations. I do think it comes to head-trips. Expectations of power and overreach. My father was an unassuming individual and humble. Would not use power to take advantage of a situation. So, anything that is outside that sphere is foreign to me. I doubt that the military would support it, or own it if there was a public uproar.

People lie about their weight all the time, including me. My current goal is to weigh what it says on my driver's license. HOW CAN YOU LIE ABOUT YOUR HEIGHT? There are lots of pictures of Trump standing next to Jared Kushner. Both claim to be 6'3". Ronny lied about Trump's HEIGHT.

accepted it. In our society being tall gives you gravitas, but being short is almost as disqualifying as being fat. I am both now, and old, so I don't bother faking my height any more.

That's the story here, Trump nominated a wholly unqualified person to be in charge of the VA health care system because that person was willing to lie for him, not about something important, but about his weight and health. Trump considers his physical image more important than the lives of America's military veterans.

was to grease his path until he hit the appointment to the VA and flamed-out. The checkup was an obvious shame as Trump isn't "borderline obese" he is obese.
