When asked to grade his performance in office, Trump offered this:
" So we have a phony deal going on and it's a cloud over my head. And I've been able to do to really escape that cloud because the message now everyone knows it's a fix, okay . . . . Nobody has done . . . what I've been able to do and I did it despite the fact that I have a phony cloud over my head that doesnt exist."

Note the term he uses--"phony cloud."
That's the exact same term Comey described him using while he met with him in the White House, and he actually relayed that conversation to Deputy AG Dana Boente, who recorded it as well.
The same term used in a memo that the Madman insisted was a "phony memo" with "made up stuff" in it.
What Comey wrote on March 30, 2017:
"He then said he had been trying to run the country and the cloud of this Russia business was making that difficult. He says he thinks he would have won the healthcare vote but for the cloud. . . . He asked what he could do to lift the cloud. . . He finished by stressing he was trying to make deals for the country, the cloud was hurting him (and he mentioned going to the G-7 with it hanging over him), and he hoped I could find a way to get out that he wasn't being investigated."
And again on April 11, 2017:
" (Trump said) He is trying to do work for the country, visit with foreign leaders, and any cloud, even a little cloud gets in the way of that."
