That program yesterday almost seemed at one point like he was trying to cleanse his conscience. He knows that WE know when he's lying, so it probably is eating at him. By admitting what he should have admitted in the first place, perhaps it is his way of confession and he can then go on with life with a clear conscience. I doubt he's saying any Hail Marys, but you can't expect much from a jerk like Trump. What you see is what we're stuck with.

I once knew of a man who couldn't close his eyes because he was afraid he'd let his guard down and the devil would get him. He sat at the dining room table day and night. His daughter said she told him he was worried about the devil because he'd been so mean to her mother. I don't know if he ever slept before he finally died, but he certainly did after.

When I think of Trump having problem sleeping, I think of this old gent. The devil was his fear.
