General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe people of America will decide what kind of government they want.
When they vote this November, they will decide the type of leadership they prefer.
The lines have already been drawn. Most have already decided. Very few will change their opinions or their votes.
Many will vote their pocketbooks. The economy is the only factor in their votes. They do not seem to care about things like democracy, fair elections, generosity for the poor, or ethical behavior in our leaders.
At the same time, many cannot see that their small taxcut has been negated by the rise in gasoline and healthcare costs and the untold costs of living with unregulated environmental protections, etc. Their children will pay the costs.
The people will decide. If we continue on the road we are on, it is just a matter of time until we collide with reality, but by then, it will be too late.
People need to understand the value of their vote. The very air they breathe depends upon it.

To one degree or another we almost all do, in that order. Shocking, but true.
Most of the right has been turned by their leaders into anti-Democrat attack dogs who've abandoned intellect, morals, standards of social behavior, patriotism, commitment to democracy, and even their religious precepts to be able to stay loyal to their group and follow its leaders.
In the process, of course, those who continue as they have are in danger of getting more of the government that comes with destroying the nation they inherited. On the plus side, the Republican leadership is losing power over some. How many, we'll see in November.
