i'm having trouble finding it.
donnie made, i think it was 12 payments to cohen over the court of about a year, supposedly to cover the $130,000 payoff to stormy, plus some "profit" for cohen.
anyone know when the payments started?
just curious as to the timing.

Per CNBC article:
"Giuliani told the newspaper (NY TIMES) that, after the campaign, Trump started paying $35,000 a month out of his "personal family account." Overall, the former mayor told the Times, Trump had paid Cohen $460,000 or $470,000, which included "incidental expenses."

(34,136 posts)2. I heard January 2017 was when they started
The repayments took place over a period of time, probably in 2017, probably all paid back by the end of 2017, Giuliani said. That and probably a few other situations that might have been considered campaign expenses. Here hes trying to say that the Daniels payment was different from campaign expenses but he also admits that Cohen lent the campaign money in the form of expenses that Trump later repaid. Cohen isnt listed in the campaigns contribution or expenditure disclosures.

Seems they might have started before mueller, but not yet clear.
