In California we have an embarrassment of riches in our gubernatorial and senate races.

In the gubernatorial race I would be fine with Newsom, Villarigossa, or Chiang and in the senate race I would be fine with Feinstein or de León.

Illinois with all the debates and realizing what a broad spectrum of D candidates we had here and not only 6 for D Gov.slot but also for 6 great primary choices to replace our current D Attorney General Lisa Madigan . As you said, I realized the richness of having such a choice and really had a hard time even for my vote
Good luck and enjoy the race feeling in unison with whoever wins

I’m very worried that Dems will split their votes so much we’ll have only Republicans in the General. Our primary system is so ridiculous. I’m leaning towards Newsom. I still admire him for being one of the first major politicians to support GLbT marriage. It showed a lot of political courage at the time. I know folks who were able to marry because of him.
