One thing is, I am retired and my townhouse is paid off !!!
It is about as cheap a decent place around so selling it would not bring enough to buy something else nearly as livable. Plus, my ex-wife owns 25% of it. And I have promised to leave it to her if I 'go' first, which probably will happen as I am a good deal older than she is.

Living on SS and a small IRA...

Nor in mine...gotta hunker down and fight this whirlwind of shitholes ...but if I were younger I would definitely strongly consider getting out of dodge....

and now they control all branches of the government, some of the judicial and is close to taken over the USA's SC.

They lost the Civil War barely.

What made the USA a powerhouse for freedom was not them but us. Democracy.
