Owlberta, the Eastern Screech Owl has a hatchling, two to go. Watch on camera.


Owlberta (female) and Oliver (male). They are both gray phase eastern screech owls. Olwberta laid her first egg in the early morning hours of 4/14/2018. Screech owls typically lay 3-5 eggs total and eggs are laid 2-days apart. The incubation period is 27-35 days. First expected hatch date is May 11th.
