Can the original bank reproduce the SAR ?

(3,608 posts)I'm thinking YES. It only makes sense that they would retain that record. My employer in some department somewhere issues SAR's and I can't imagine that we do not have a record of each and every one of them.

(8,203 posts)I was waiting for either Rachel or Ronan to discuss that aspect of the SARS...we have now demonstrated an advanced degree in CSI CSI....to answer the question, we need to understand just how the SARS is generated..is it automatic? - even so, I would think both ends of the process would have a trail..

And you can bet your ass the feds audit their policies, procedures and systems annually. Failing said audits is horrendous.

(42,770 posts)Farrow said he was in law enforcement? Who's looking at Cohen besides NYC feds and Mueller? And if he has a legitimate reason..why leak the one you could find? If you were legit..why not ask NYC or Mueller?

(9,766 posts)At least the minimum required by the feds. Some opt for more robust retention rules.
