I remember in April/May 1992 when George HW Bush was kicking Bill Clintons ass in the polls and now Republicans are doing better in the current polls. Im not taking anything for granted but Im just holding tight to see how things are in October.

(21,721 posts)They are all from 1 candidate and they are all robocalls. I don't answer the phone for unknown numbers, but 1 candidate has been calling me constantly. I finally called the campaign office and told them to take me off their calling list, and that I intend to vote for whoever the democratic candidate is, unless they bug the shit out of me with constant phone calls. Getting 3 - 4 calls a day is way too much. They wanted my number, which I understand, and my name, which I didn't give them because they don't need my name to remove my number from their call list

(17,021 posts)All they are focused on this time of the year is what to do with the kids and summer vacation. I think it's foolish to spend a lot of money on ads now, better to wait until closer to the election.
