I believe I understand why Rod Rosenstein is making the decisions he is making to appease Trump.

He simply does not trust the Trump SCOTUS.

This stuff is definite headed toward the SCOTUS at some point. We cannot trust the conservatives to abide by the Constitution but make all kinds of efforts to protect Trump...just like they protected Bush.

We are in serious trouble.

With the Justice Department caving and a rightwing majority in the SCOTUS we are in big trouble.

Have the right to direct an independent investigation into HIS campaign. So much for not being extorted.

Then Trump would have replaced him, and the GOP Senate would have confirmed ANYONE (they no longer need a supermajority for this level of an appointment.) And the new guy would either get rid of Mueller or tie his hands behind his back.

We would not be better off.

We might get as well just give up now if that’s the case.

My thinking is that he's doing what he can to buy as much time for Mueller to build his case. IF Roger Stone and especially Don Jr are close to being indicted as some have speculated, it will be a whole new game.

he knows there is nothing there and the informant was only placed because the drumpf campaign was a well known criminal enterprise. they will double check, find nothing, and move on. plus it shuts drumpf up since complying with his request gives him nothing to whine about

Yep, we were already in serious trouble the second the fake prez was allowed to run, which should never have happened.

This is very alarming to me at least, there are not that many posts about this that I’ve seen so far anyway. What is next?

I’m already pretty much planning to leave at some point in time, hopefully after I cant work anymore. We are pretty much disgusted with this entire country and most of the people here.
