Let's play a game: "Ask a Republican"

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/fbi-warned-trump-2016-russians-would-try-infiltrate-his-campaign-n830596

-----------------------------------------------------

In July 2016, the FBI warned the Trump-campaign that Russia would try to infiltrate their campaign. The FBI urged them to report any suspicious activity.

Why didn't the Trump-campaign report incidents like Carter Page's visit to Moscow?
Or Michael Flynn's contacts to Russia?
Or Jeff Sessions' repeated visits to russian ambassador Kislyak?
Or Jared Kushner's contacts to Kislyak?
Or Donald Trump Jr. and Kushner holding a meeting with Kremlin-connected lawyer (and according to swiss intelligence suspected russian spy) Veselnitskaya?
Or Roger Stone meeting with Julian Assange? (As the servers of Wikileaks are in Russia.)

Isn't that weird? The FBI told them that something fishy was going on with respect to Russia... and the Trump-campaign just dived in head-first.

Those are all Democratic Party lies. Democrats are traitors trying to hide their own collusion with Russia while plotting to take down America's democratically elected president. But their evil, fascist plot against our democracy won't succeed. We will march in the streets to stop them.

Yeah, I know, weak performance, but I didn't go pick up the battle cries all Republicans are trained to recite these days.

You know, a majority of Germans didn't come together to elect the spittle-spraying, genocidal maniac shown in our newreels. They elected a stronger, more resolute Ronald Reagan who inflamed resentful populilst and nationalist resentments while nevertheless portraying himself as a good conservative who believed in traditional family values, protecting traditional religion against the evils of secularism, and national security.

The point is,they did not want to believe the warnings of those who were not deceived, so they didn't.
