This is the man who cheated the IRS for Decades and Fleeced Cities for Tax Concessions..... and now, he wants to cut more, when the nation is struggling to meet its needs to the people.
States are already in a bind behind his massive give away to the wealthy
How much longer will America Tolerate This?
He's damaged EVERYTHING in America and doing all he can to destroy the rule of Law, because he wants to be a dictator, he has attack the press, because he wants to control the public narrative.... and he is OBSTRUCTING justice every way he can because he knows he's a criminal and treasonous s.o.b.
It's a shame that America puts up with this, we are far weaker than other nations, who would have long ago, removed him, and his complete regime, would either be imprisoned or executed for the insults and damages to the nation, its international relations and its general society and all of its government administration.
We let talking head like Guilliani come in slinging his madness and trying to dictate how our laws function. We watch Republican's side up with this madness, and we are passive as a society of people to allow one man promote madness to damage a nation to such a horrible degree.
We've watched his criminal son in law sell away policy for personal gain, and his daughter continually insult the nation thinking she is some princess of America.
We may be many many decades before America gains back some of its credibility, if it ever gains it back; the issue of American Racism is exposed and as a nation it will have to deal with demolishing the rabid racist mentality by some means in this nation is to ever move forward with sustainability.
People fell for "belligerent bluster" by a fool.... the same man who's history has been nothing but a series of swindles, money washing and every kind of money related crime one can imagine, including selling out the nation for the benefit of money to pump up his delusion and self madness of being money obsessed.
Our Media gave this imbecile too much media coverage as if they did not know we have a segment of society, who has limited education and far less understanding, and only look for a "daily drama fix", within the ranks of those who have a history of belligerent bigoted madness of racist ignorance. We should have known this gutter class of people were still driven to wreak havoc in America, because we saw them for the past 8 yrs with their right wing and tea party madness. They are as imbecilic as those who fought the battles of the Confederacy, to protect the wealthy and trying to support the ongoing of human abuse, while they were too DUMB to know, that such a system had no concern for poor whites, other than to use them "to catch musket balls", while trying to protect a system that relegated them to impoverished conditions all behind telling them that their white skin would be their salvation.
We had better awaken, and those who claim democrat but hold silence when elements discuss the racist whites, need to come to terms with the truths of historical racism and its impacts upon and against society. they need to look deep within to address the truths of how racism has been the destructive forces that has damaged every aspect of America's Ideals of Democracy. When Democratic minded white people become more vocal about white racism, only then; will the power of Democracy become stronger. One can't want to hold on to elements of "white privilege" and still claim to be a full on Democrat who stands for "Equality" and "Economic Equilibrium" and "Civic Justice" among American's Multicultural Society.
Those who relish "white privilege" are as much a danger as the "rabid racist" is unto the Democracy in and of America.
That's a truth that many white people who proclaim themselves to be for the Democratic Ideals has to face within themselves to find truth of self. Otherwise they live a lie, for the sake of "white privilege". They become a force that diminishes American progress as a society and a nation.
If people were true to the element and premise of Democracy, the stand of rage would be daily, to remove this madness from damaging America. Rather than day by day, continually being lulled into passive acceptance of the Republican Madness and Allowing Republican Narrative to Dominate every aspect of the Media and Control the Public Narratives. At this sad time in America, the basic of what is the Democratic Response is not much more than puns, joke and slap stick in response to Republican Dominance of Public Narrative. We have no lead role in promoting a Democratic Narrative... we are lost in being not much more than "responders", caught in the spin of republican drama, trying to fight it with a joke and a pun. We have not become aware of how to promote and take a dominant stand to promote a Democratic Narrative.

(870 posts)Geez people.... its time to put on the thinking hats and get the expressions moving to promote the narrative to make people more aware of what is taking place.
Already he has indebted your children, and grandchildren and the unborn, and now the talk of more cuts is nothing but a set up to create means and reason to cut more public services to the American people. Next, they will shape it up to cut Social Security, and maybe when that truth lands in the minds of people, they will begin to talk.
Silence will gain you nothing, and certainly won't build any support to stand against this madness. YOU, yes, "YOU" have a responsibility to PROMOTE DEMOCRATIC NARRATIVE INTO THE PUBLIC SPHERE..... not waiting on everyone else to promote the narrative, YOU have to be driven to promote the Democratic Narrative. If you don't, you fail yourself, as well as every other person who claims themselves as Democrats.
If you don't know the narrative to support and promote, then its time to learn more and gain the motivation to promote it.

(870 posts)if you note any thread that speaks of promoting the Democratic Narrative meets nothing but "silence"... as if many of the people are on this site to push jokes and pun comments, and if they can't push a joke or a pun, they are silent.
Its a horrible disaster when people are of such callousness not to have interest to promote Democratic Narrative, as if they think just being on this site and claiming to be pro democrat, but, not understanding the need to promote Democratic narrative, above just being a reactionary pun slinger to Republican promotion of policy and agenda that is not of the Democratic values.
This site is far more frustrating, to claim it self as a pro democratic forum. maybe it might be in some ways the "jokes and pun's central.... Because not many post seem to even address promoting a Democratic Narrative as a top priority.
Dominant Narratives gains votes... in case people have not figured it out.

(25,247 posts)people as I can. Everyone should read your OP. In fact, the Dems in the House and Senate should be shouting from the Halls of Congress what you have said in your OP. It would be a catalyst to GOTV for Nov 2018. If you've seen any of my postings I keep saying that we need an historic turnout in Nov. In fact it should be the most Americans going to the polls in any election ever.
I don't take the Blue Wave for granted. I know we need a historic turnout to defend all the cheating the Repugs will be doing in Nov - given gerrymandering; voter suppression; Russian interference and out and out stealing of votes by the Repugs. They have a lot to lose if they lose the House and Senate and they will be out in force to prevent that from happening.
Again - we need to run against the Repugs - as they have been doing their dirty work under the cover that Trump gives them. They are - under the shadow of Trump - destroying our government.
I'm sitting here in disbelief that there have been very few other DU'ers here responding to your OP. I would think that it would be K&R more than any other OP here.
Again you've captured what's been going through my mind and not being able to express it as powerful as you have.

Every DU'er needs to read your post.
Perhaps something like: "How To Promote The Democratic Narrative" or something more catchy. Something that will draw more of them to open your post and read it.

(870 posts)but ... some of these people got some attitude as if they already know everything, but they don't share nor promote anything that pushes and promotes the Democratic Narrative, and then they whine when someone else tries to Promote Narrative and Content to Inspire the promotion of Democratic narrative. I've seen that type my whole life, they don't phase me.
They'd rather crack a joke, or as you can see, come up with some attack methods, which serves absolutely no purpose.
I wonder if at times, there are not a variety of "plants" within this site, that do all they can to attack any promotion of narrative, or discussion of any issue that is part of the Democratic platform.... and mercy, if one speaks of racism, they go silent or go on attack, as if 'racist discrimination" is not something that the Democratic Platform stands against.
It's the weirdest thing, which tells me.. that all members here may not have the Democratic Platform or its Agenda as the highest priority a being within this site.

I'm not really concerned about those who come to post, wearing their fragile feelings on their shirt sleeve, when they don't contribute anything to postings or generate commentary that promotes the Democratic Narrative. They just come to whine because either they feel guilty or the truths hurt.. When point and fact is won't and some don't care to create posting to promote the democratic narratives..
I'm not here to just respond to some Republican Drama Antics of Media Headlines, and not have something to say that promotes the Democratic Narrative.

More people than you... read what exist in this site, and people who are not members read as well, and yes, its quite likely, people who are undecided as to how they care to vote, also likely read this site; it may well be that people from foreign lands read this site, as well as young people who are seeking out concepts and understanding as to what is the Democrats all about, and want to know and hear what people think....
So, please patronize yourself by some other means.... No one forced you to read anything.
you sound about like some of the people during Jim Crow, when they detested any non white person to speak about anything, and certainly hated to see any non white person speak with a conviction.

(3,477 posts)The only thing I find personally challenging is the attempt to understand your apparent belief that a community of passionate Democrats somehow needs to be lectured on promoting the party’s narrative. There’s nothing especially fresh or new in what you write, perhaps beyond the random capitalization, so I’m challenged to understand why you believe yourself to be the alpha and omega on what constitutes a proper Democrat.
