People can meet on the same day with a contact who had multiple meetings, but without being involved in those discussions that took place earlier or later. Now, I'm remembering that thing with Ryan and other congressional members and the vow that "this is not to be discussed" or something of that nature. What "this" was I'm not sure, but I believe it had everything to do with the Russian connection through various donations through a multitude of fronts, and I'm dead certain that McConnell would have known about and been involved with as well. I'm not saying he's not guilty of meeting with Vekselberg or any other oligarch. I'm just saying that the time stamp is the most important, and from the tweet, it's not clear whether he was arriving at the same time.
