(102,343 posts)while these segments have been repaired, I don't know of new construction, given Congress has not authorized more than a small amount $$ in the last budget (omnibus spending bill). Trump believed Fox news (Coulter et al) when they claimed that he could just use the military budget to fund (and he CAN NOT).

BUT, BE AWARE, SPLC has made it clear that this is a group masquerading as looking for "fair" solutions, but actually engaged in anti-immigrant lobbying. Their info may be accurate (probably no more biased than the Border Patrol's website), but beware their motives. Here's what SPLC had to say about them:

(13,903 posts)AFAIK, THE WALL! is some substantial repairs to current sections maybe some additional sections.
I don't think any sections of the "new and improved wall" that he has been grifting is anywhere near ready to begin construction. Don't think it is even funded.
