Giuliani confirmed the contents of the letter to Mueller obtained by the New York Times. He says it's still their legal strategy, telling me "If Mueller tries to subpoena us, we're going to court."

Wasn't that letter submitted to Mueller last January? And aren't both of those lawyers gone now? (Unless Sukelow is still around.)

For all we know, they wrote it last week. I would not be surprised if that's actually the case. And, we all know damn well they are the ones who "leaked" it. This is just more of their usual "fake news" bullshit. It's no different than when they claimed that 5 million people voted illegally 2016. Now half of the republican party believes that is the truth.

I would think they leaked this on purpose to get out in front of a subpoena. That way they can drive the narrative. It's absolutely their style to do something like this.

Seems very similar to the whole thing with the leaking of the questions Mueller might ask.

i'm beginning to think that enough of Trump's core douchebag inner circle has flipped or made hopelessly incriminating on-record statements that Mueller's already got a raftload of crimes ready to prosecute.
