Trump's Midterms anxiety is severely misquided.

There are three kinds of voters out there.

1). People like my sister, who stay glued to Fox News all day long, and use it as their primary "information source." They also follow Fox on Social Media, which exposes them to other "Fox Fans" and every nutjob conspiracy theorist on the Internet.

2). People who are blissfully unaware and follow politics in a minimal fashion, or not at all

3). People who follow everything that is NOT Fox News or Breitbart. It doesn't mean they follow "liberal media" exclusively. It just means that they are not devotees of far-right media.

I don't think the Fox Fans and Red Hats are going to be swayed by anything that happens with Trump.

I assume that some of the "blissfully unaware" might be swayed as this goes deeper and deeper in the gole.

And a LARGE segment of the "everyone else" folks never wanted Trump in the first place.

Trump is now fixated on the "magic pill" of ending the Mueller investigation as a way to "save" the Midterms.

I don't see that happening.

First, it's going to end when it's going to end, and that may or may not be before the midterms.

Second, if it did end before November, the Red Hats are still going to vote red. The some of the blissfully unaware might think he was "treated unfairly" and vote red. This depends on how much of this sticks to Trump personally, because we all know he will throw EVERYONE under the bus to save his own ass.

But I personally don't need to see a Mueller verdict to determine how I'm going to vote in November.

Trump will still be a serial liar, a serial adulterer, a serial racist, a guy who was born on third base with Fred's money and thought he hit a home run, a bully, a punk, a loudmouth, and someone who still continues to damage our reputation in the International community.

And the overwhelming majority of Republicans simply stood back, kept silent, and let him go on his merry way.

The issue becomes how much damage an ongoing Mueller investigation would to in regard to voters that I believe have already made up their minds, one way or another.

Trump is desperately trying to click his red slippers together in order to get back to Kansas.

But we're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.

I don't think that ending the Mueller investigation before November is going to wipe the clouds away and make people love Paul Ryan, Devin Nunes, and the rest.

As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!
