It would be good to get the Republicans on record about the trump's "absolute power"...

...to pardon himself.

It would be good for the country to know where they stand? The people deserve to know which side they support? Do they stand for our Constitution and the rule of law or do they stand for their wannabe dictator?

We should have access to that information before the next election, don't you think? Are they patriots or are they traitors?

the purpose to twist and change our system, first by promoting intent to confuse the public, while they seek through policy and process to make changes in our laws and our politics.. They will seek to do this within States, and within the Federal Processes, and then they would hope to make Congressional Changes to back it up.

It's akin to how this society "sanctioned slavery for 100's of years'... We've seen it all before, and WE AS AMERICA PEOPLE WILL NOT GO BACKWARDS... Nor will we be led to accept an evil that seeks to promote itself by and through the Republican System and its Agenda.

We are a DEMOCRACY.... with Representative Governing Figures.... There is no place for "Absolute Power".... Therefore, be not misled, do not be fed the meal of doubt, and be no deceived... Do not become entwined in the madness of evil and foolish men.
REJECT their commentary and keep a watchful mind and eye upon their actions, and stand to promote public narrative that speaks the truths about what is "Our Democracy", which functions by a republic system of representative governing figures, who is elected by the people, for the people. This denotes the fact there is no "Absolute Power" conferred upon any Office nor any Office Holders in This United States of America.

snip of article:

I admit that I am an absolute radical when I express the danger the Republican fascist cult presents to our democracy. I hate the use of the word tribalism because it implies that the division in our country is between two equally radical political philosophies. It’s simply not true. There is an extremely radical herd of sheep being manipulated by authoritarian wannabes on one side, and the rational patriots who believe in democracy on the other.

Most of the never Trumpers certainly have big policy differences from us progressives, but at least they express loyalty to the constitution and the democratic principles America has been marching towards for over 200 years.

But I share the patriotic radicalism that Steve Smith expresses in many of his tweets. This isn’t the phony patriotism, which is really nationalism, of the Republican sheep, but rather patriotism toward the rule of law and the fundamental principles of democracy.

Steve Schmidt summed it up nicely in this tweet thread concerning that authoritarian legal document from Trump’s lawyers.

Any member of Congress that supports the legal thesis of the Trump letter is a friend of illiberalism and unfaithful to their constitutional oaths. There is no room for debate or disagreement here. Supporting this crazy theory is an assault on the Republic.

What they think about it. I as sure I will get a nice form letter back with them evading the question.

Senator Alexander,

Now that president Trump has stated in a letter that he is above the law, I am wondering what your stance is on the issue. Is President Trump able to pardon himself and not be held accountable for breaking federal laws in your opinion.

This seems to be quite dictatorial to me both against American values and against the way presidential powers should be. What is you opinion?
